Downloads

Every one of David Ball’s books is here to download — as an EPUB for Kindles and other e-readers, or as a PDF for printing and reading on a computer. They are rebuilt from the text on this site, so they match what you read online, and they are free to keep and share.

Adding a book to your e-reader

First download the EPUB for the book you want from the list above. Then:

On a Kindle

Amazon’s free Send to Kindle service delivers the book wirelessly to your device. Any one of these three ways works — pick whichever suits you:

  1. From a computer. Go to amazon.co.uk/sendtokindle, sign in with your Amazon account, and drag the downloaded EPUB onto the page. It appears on your Kindle within a minute or two.
  2. By email. Email the EPUB as an attachment to your own …@kindle.com address. (You’ll find or set yours on Amazon under Account → Manage Your Content and Devices → Preferences → Personal Document Settings.) It lands on your Kindle automatically.
  3. From a phone or tablet. Install the free Kindle app, then tap the downloaded EPUB, choose Share, and pick Kindle.

If an older Kindle won’t open a book, send it by the email method above and Amazon will convert it for you.

On a Kobo, iPad, iPhone or other reader

Most e-readers open EPUBs directly. On an iPhone or iPad, tap the downloaded EPUB and choose Apple Books. On a Kobo, plug it into your computer and copy the EPUB into the device, or use the Kobo app. Other readers and reading apps — PocketBook, Moon+ Reader, Calibre and the rest — take EPUB files the same way.
